Tucked into the heart of San Diego’s Carmel Valley neighborhood, this skatepark offers riders a clean, modern space designed for every style of skating. Covering about 13,500 square feet, the park mixes classic pool shapes with creative street features, giving skaters plenty of options to progress and have fun.

At the center is a signature combi bowl, built with pool coping and steep walls for those who love deep transitions and old-school pool skating. Around the bowl, the street section is laid out with banks, ledges, handrails, stairs, and granite edges—perfect for technical lines and endless creativity.

The park is equipped with lights for night sessions, restrooms. Safety is emphasized: helmets and pads are required, and only skateboards, inline skates, and roller skates are allowed inside the fenced area.

Carmel Valley Skatepark has been part of the community since 2008 and remains one of San Diego’s more relaxed, family-friendly places to ride. It’s free to skate and open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., making it an easy go-to spot for both beginners and experienced skaters.
